Anita
Webster Communications – Biography I
have worked as a reporter. I have spent many hours in newsrooms.
My strong media background means I understand
how the media operate and how news decisions are made. I work
imaginatively and effectively with print, radio and TV journalists
as well as "bloggers". With over 20 years experience,
I draw on a wide network of media contacts. My clients get results.
I launched Anita Webster Communications in 1995.
Before that I looked after media relations and
publications for the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada –
set up to help Canadian businesses succeed in Asia. I worked in
public relations for MacMillan Bloedel and Expo 86, was a freelance
writer and broadcaster, a CBC radio host in Prince Rupert and
editor of the weekly newspaper the Whistler Question.
I have a journalism degree from Carleton and
a B.A. from U.B.C.
